For those of us out there thinking that pharmacology is a dry topic the NRTC has come up with a groundbreaking, innovative, interactive, informative and extremely effective learning tool. An easy menu allows you to learn at your own pace and to move backwards and forwards through the text in a controlled and systematic manner. Up-to-date web links allow direct access to guidelines and relevant organisations. For nurses working with respiratory patients this is a useful learning tool and should be a useful aide memoir for those undertaking nurse prescribing

I found this easy to load CD a real pleasure to look at, being both informative and entertaining. The educational value of the section on drugs is excellent, making the understanding of drug mechanisms so much easier with the use of good graphics. I can thoroughly recommend this resource for the continuing professional development of health professionals working with patients who have respiratory or allergic disease.
